What you'll do…
Apply engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products
Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc.
Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis
Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently
Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers
Review quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions
Responsible for document control, ensure the effectiveness of document management, and regularly review system documents with reference to standard clauses, company requirements, business risk points and business requirements
Responsible for monitoring the operation and optimization of QMS system process.
Responsible for participating in the certification audit of QMS system.
Assist audits of the quality management module.

Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Experience in manufacturing engineering
Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing processes in a manufacturing environment.
Proven problem-solving ability.
Previous production supervision
Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Experience working with IATF16949
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapidly changing work environment

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field
Six Sigma Green or Black belt
Experience: 5 years of previous automotive and quality analysis. Familiar with Ford Q1 and QOS.
Exposure to Li ion cell or battery manufacturing

This position is a salary grade 6-8.

Once your employment with Ford commences, you will be assigned to BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work for BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC, a Ford wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall, Michigan. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.
