Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team! This position will manage contract administration activities and life cycle of contracts and subcontracts supporting Government entities and commercial clients. This position is based out of our corporate office located in Marlton, NJ with the ability to maintain a teleworking schedule. What will you be doing?This position will be a key member of the Contracts department. Duties include:•Manage contract lifecyle administration activities from pre-award through contract closeout, ensuring accuracy in documentation, contract funding, modifications, scope and delivery schedules.•Provides contract administration and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, terms and conditions, and customer requirements.•Reviews solicitations, proposals and bids in response to customer requirements.•Works with cross-functional teams to submit proposals and execute contractual requirements.•Ability to negotiate, analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions with commercial and Government customers.•Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.•Compiles and maintains all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contractual requirements and company policy and procedures.•Interfaces with Government personnel, subcontractors and teaming partners.•Manages subcontracts and vendors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.•Develops subcontract specifications, work statements and terms and conditions for subcontractor and vendor services and products.What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?This position will require the following skillsets and experience:•At least eight years of experience in contract administration.•A bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field. •Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other Government agency supplements.•Ability to collaborate in a team environment with management, and other internal business units.•Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules, and an understanding of project plan tasking.•Strong internal communication skills, both written and oral. This includes the ability to work with all levels of the organization (program management, finance and operations).•Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on contractual issues.•Troubleshooting is a required skill; responsibility for detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay or impact the contract.
