Job Title: Plumber

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using various methods such as couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, and more. They will also cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings, conduct pipe cutting and preassembly for the installation of plumbing systems or components. The role includes installing pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks or toilets. The successful candidate will also install underground storm, sanitary, or water piping systems.

Hard Skills

  • Assembling pipe sections

  • Cutting openings in structures

  • Pipe cutting and preassembly

  • Installing pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, fixtures

  • Installing underground storm, sanitary, or water piping systems

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Ability to locate and mark positions for pipe installations

  • Ability to measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle

Job Type

This is a permanent placement.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in South Central Minnesota.

Work Environment

The work environment will include various locations and structures where plumbing systems or components are needed. This may include areas with obstructions such as electrical wiring. The successful candidate must be able to work around these obstructions and follow building codes and specifications to ensure proper installation procedures.
