The Operations Supervisor is responsible for staffing, safety, supervision, direction, training, and evaluating their assigned production team within their operating value stream. In this role, you will provide direction and leadership for the site manufacturing teams to exceed the safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement metrics.

  • Drive for Results: utilize motivational techniques to improve performance continuously.

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze results, check production levels and investigate production issues to ensure efficient department operation.

  • Safety driven: teach plant safety regulations and housekeeping practices and encourage employees to become safety conscious.

  • Strong Communication skills: Ability to listen, communicate needs and results, and motivate the team.

  • Presentation Skills: Conduct training of the workforce as needed

  • Strong organizational skills: maintain appropriate logs and reports.

  • Maintain a customer focus and have attention to details and quality. Ability to make sound decisions that will benefit the customer, the team, and the company.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience in a supervisory role.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills;

  • Ability to troubleshoot technological problems.

  • Demonstrated team-building skills.

  • Human resource management skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
