Job Description:
About the Role:
The Quality Assurance Tech positions at the Manawa location provide support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Important Details:
Testing and qualify ingredients, premixes, blends, and finished products
Documenting results
Identifying quality issues and placing product on hold
Inspecting bay and area washes and releasing for use
Maintaining retention samples for future reference when needed
Completing paperwork and audits, and updating procedures
Leading food safety training and new hire orientation
This is a full-time permanent role starting at $23.24 per hour for the following positions:
- Tech I on 1st Shift
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
Experience in a QA role or in food production
High attention to detail
