Our client is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that inspires the world to communicate and advance faster. They are currently hiring an Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Manassas. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a pivotal role within the Supply Management team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our inventory of spare parts. Operating in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with suppliers and stakeholders to mitigate supply shortages and drive efficient inventory management practices. If you have at least 3 years of experience and are proficient in SAP then this is the role for you.

salary: $24 - $25.97 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Analyst, job duties include:

  • Monitor and adjust local inventory levels to support manufacturing operations effectively and minimize waste, including managing safety stock (SS), reorder point (ROP), lead time, and obsolescence.

  • Address inventory stock-out issues promptly, investigating root causes and implementing preventive measures.

  • Coordinate inventory scheduling and deliveries, adjusting orders with suppliers as needed due to changes in scheduling or availability.

  • Expedite delivery issues to ensure continuity of supply chain operations.

  • Champion a customer-centric approach to problem-solving, representing Procurement positively and effectively.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership to enhance departmental strategies, processes, and policies.

  • Conduct Zero Bin Analysis and address root causes related to zero bin crisis items.

Skills:

  • 3+ years experience working as a Supply Chain Analyst or possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.

  • CPIM Certification (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) preferred.

  • Knowledge of SAP for Materials Management and MRP (Material Requirements Planning).

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
