Vanguard Business Transformation and Change Management Lead, Specialist in Malvern, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Change Management Specialist to join our Enablement team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and implementing change initiatives and strategy across the B2B organization to ensure smooth communication, adoption, and achieve desired business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements change management strategies and plans for large departmental or multi-year programs/initiatives. Identifies and handles anticipated resistance to change.

  • Creates change management goals that may aim to maximize product adoption (internal and external) as well as influence and minimize resistance to new operational processes (internal and external).

  • Supplies expertise and leads a business engagement plan, including ways of assessing readiness and feedback. Secures partners and influences senior management buy-in across the department/division.

  • Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior change management experiences with the aim of improving acuity across the department.

  • Establishes proper engagement processes and best practices to help stakeholders recognize when change management is needed.

  • Provides coaching and support to partners, stakeholders, and leaders within local teams and broader department to facilitate change. Builds trust across all stakeholder groups.

  • Assess change readiness, identifies key stakeholders, and conducts impact analyses.

  • Creates and/or partners to deliver change management communications and training programs.

  • Collaborates with project, product, and client experience teams to integrate change management activities into project plans.

  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of change initiatives, makes vital adjustments, and communicates status and issues regularly to stakeholders.

  • Develops measurement processes for change management success that enable business partners and stakeholders to conduct self-assessments

Qualifications

  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders required.

  • A proven ability to influence and persuade, especially with change management and implementation.

  • Strategic thinking and coaching experience.

  • Experience having critical and difficult conversations, especially at the executive level.

  • Change management and/or project management designations preferred.

  • Experience in the Retirement Plan/Institutional record-keeping industry preferred.

  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Three years of business transformation and or change management experience.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
