JOB REQUIREMENTS: Supervisor Cardiovascular Sonography - 29855 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday with variable start times. Weekends PRN as needed to support the team. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Supervisor, Cardiovascular Sonography * Motivate, lead others and share knowledge to provide advanced training to current Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers and new staff members. * Collaborate between programs to cultivate a dynamic and high functioning team that focuses on providing an optimal cardiovascular imaging experience. * Assume a daily leadership role and demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in all applicable clinical settings. * Suggest changes in procedures, policies, and quality improvement, as well as coordinate training and development of the Imaging Specialists and keep them advised of technological changes. * Collaborate with clinicians, care team leaders, staff nurses, other disciplines and patients/families to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care and a positive experience to all patients, families and visitors. * Support in the development and coordination of new programs and cutting-edge technology and procedures utilizing ultrasound imaging . * The team supports a robust structural heart program . The procedures include transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures. * Lead in a Cardiovascular Imaging Lab that is accredited by the IAC - in both Echo and Vascular Imaging at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area. Preferred - Master\'s degree in business administration, healthcare management or related care management field. Work Experience : Minimum - A minimum of three (3) years\' experience in performing complex Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound imaging. One (1) year of progressively increased responsibility in a leadership role in an advanced healthcare setting. Preferred - Five (5) years\' experience to include leadership, training of staff and students and progressively responsible experience as a lead sonogr pher or supervision of staff.
