JOB REQUIREMENTS: Advanced Assembly Inc. (AAI), located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add a Machine Operator I position to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products. These full time positions offer a 2nd shift schedule of Monday - Thursday 2:45 pm to 12:45 am, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package. Job Description: Machine Operators are responsible for everyday machine operation of the Surface Mount (SMT), Coating, Wave or Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment. This is an entry-level Machine Operator position. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (Nothing in this job description restricts management\'s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time). Follow directions, read from and interpret written instructions Make sound judgments while operating production equipment Organize responsibilities to achieve maximum output to meet production and quality requirements Understand and follow all applicable quality system procedures and perform all assigned responsibilities outlined in the quality system Keep work areas neat and organized Follow established product handling procedures consistently Setup, run and tear down jobs on each of the production lines Operate the SMT line, Wave, coating or AOI equipment Provide general assistance to the workflow when and where needed Perform daily cleaning of machine as needed Follow the daily checklist Communicate with the Automation Technicians, Supervisor, or Team Leads on quality issues Verify parts on the line Assist Automation Technicians as needed Performs other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor *Former employees who had been employed by the company within the last 360 days from date of application are ineligible for the sign-on bonus. Hand-eye coordination necessary to work with small electronic parts. Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis.
