We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The position involves project design responsibilities for site grading, utility design, storm water management, erosion control, street design, and parking lot design. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, work effectively in project teams, and have experience with various design-related responsibilities. A background in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
Responsibilities
Design site grading, utility systems, and storm water management solutions.
Manage erosion control, street design, and parking lot design projects.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project completion.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting tasks.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience in civil land development design/engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Completion of an internship in civil land development design/engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D during internships.
Work Environment
The work environment offers flexible hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with 45-minute lunches. Employees can opt to work five 8-hour days if preferred. The current work setup allows for remote work. The dress code is casual, with jeans acceptable alongside polo shirts, button-ups, or dress shirts. Our workplace has a small company feel and is family-friendly, with a laid-back, hands-off environment. There are four partners who collaborate directly with staff on all projects, promoting a collaborative team dynamic. We offer fully paid health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation days, and a generous PTO policy.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
