Amazon Financial Analyst, EU Global Transportation Services Finance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

We are hiring a Finance Analyst in EU Global Transportation Finance to partner with teams across Operations and Finance to support the EU Cost Out process. In this role, you will also support EU Operations’ end to end cost out process, maintaining controllership, working with partner teams to collect data and insights, managing monthly and quarterly cadences, and providing narratives to senior leadership. The successful candidate must be passionate about leading a process, financial modelling, standardization and automation, explaining financial drivers to finance and non-finance audiences, and ultimately delight our customers. Key job responsibilities

• Own the Cost Out consolidation process for end to end EU Operations Finance.

• Partner with various finance and business stakeholders to collect and consolidate Cost Out plans and actuals.

• Support monthly and quarterly cadences (MBRs, QBRs, newsletters), ensuring on time and in full data collection and consolidation, and understand the initiatives to support narrative writing.

• Propose improvements to how cost out projects are calculated, collected and consolidated.

• Build standardized and automated tools to improve accuracy and speed.

• Drive alignment on timelines, deliverables, calculation methodologies and narratives with other cost out leads across EU Operations.

About the team

The Global Transportation Services (GTS) Finance team in Europe is expanding! We support short- and long-term planning for end to end transportation cost, in every European geography at Amazon as well as commercial modelling on carrier negotiations. By building robust financial plans, linking operational metrics with financial outcomes and supporting our business partners make data driven commercial decisions, the GTS Finance Team plays a vital role as Amazon strives to be Earth's most customer-centric company.

Basic Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to finance and non-finance audiences.

• High attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced or master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or another relevant field.

• Experience with SQL, PowerBI or any large-scale data mining and reporting tools.
