Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Staff Technologists, assists the Technologists efficient work flow in the department and with the comfort and care of patient.

· Prepares the Imaging room with necessary supplies and equipment for the diagnostic procedure.

· Performs clerical duties as necessary for all diagnostic procedures.

· Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills.

· Communicates in a clear and concise manner.

· Interacts professionally and effectively with medical staff, patients and families.

· Assists the technologist with patient care responsibilities.

· Transports patients to and from the procedure room an assists technologist in transferring and the observation of patients.

· Performs other related duties as required.

· Sends for patient when directed by technologist.

· Assist with Patient Satisfaction and ED & Inpatient wait times

· Cleans equipment daily.

· Replenishes O2 tank supply and handles O2 equipment safely.

· Stocks linen and keeps blanket supply replenished in warmer.

· Provides assistance as needed to fulfill patient and other customer requests.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

One-year of Radiologic Technologist equivalent training in an accredited program preferred

HOURS

PRN - Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
