Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Louisville, KY.Duties: Work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Standardize the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversee testing and debugging and develop fixes. Research complaints and make necessary adjustments and recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Select and integrate any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities. Build Azure Data Factory Pipelines. Develop PySpark applications to be deployed in Azure Databricks. Work alongside data scientists to build performant and reliable data structures and pipelines to enable machine learning model training and scoring. Monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes. 100% Telecommuting permitted within the U.S.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience as a Data engineer or in related roles. Requires 2 years of experience with: -Python development;-designing data pipelines;-refactoring and tuning machine learning models;-Azure, AWS, or other cloud services provider.Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
