Job Title: Robotic Welder Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled robotics programmer/operator to work on a 6-axis robotic welder. This is a new piece of equipment that requires a dedicated professional for programming and operation. The candidate will be solely responsible for programming and operating this robot.
Responsibilities
Program and operate a 6-axis robotic welder.
Utilize both teach pendant and offline programming methods.
Perform robotics operation and troubleshooting.
Maintain and ensure optimal functioning of the robotic welding system.
Essential Skills
Robotic programming experience (Fanuc preferred).
Experience in offline programming.
Ability to program using both the teach pendant and offline methods.
Experience in robotics operation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of MIG welding and robotic welding processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Octopus software is a significant advantage.
Willingness to work primarily on a single robot.
Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor for the majority of the shift.

Work Environment
The work environment is a fabrication shop that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. However, 40% of the time will be spent in a temperature-controlled office. The facility is very organized and clean for a fabrication shop. The position is for the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
