Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky. This role plays an integral part in our financial team and is critical to maintaining our financial records and helping us achieve our financial goals.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing invoices and keeping track of all payments and expenditures
• Conducting account reconciliations regularly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Performing check runs and preparing analysis of accounts as required
• Handling accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate coding of invoices
• Conducting data entry tasks and managing the database with the utmost accuracy
• Utilizing software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline the accounts payable process
• Resolving any payment or invoice discrepancies or discrepancies promptly and professionally
• Collaborating with the rest of the finance team to ensure overall departmental goals are achieved. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.
• Prior experience with Check Runs is necessary.
• Ability to perform Coding Invoices effectively.
• Strong Data Entry skills are essential.
• Must have experience in Invoice Processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP software is beneficial.
