ManTech Aeronautical Systems Engineer in Lothian, Maryland
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Aeronautical Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD . This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, or evaluate military weapons systems
Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, and other technical documentation
Analyze, design, develop, or evaluate components or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems and associated support systems
Develop and edit material for reports, briefs, and related technical publications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Engineering related discipline, OR, An associate’s degree with related discipline and 7+ years of relevant work experience, OR, a high school diploma and 9+ years of relevant work experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree requirement
3+ years of experience related to Rotary Wing Engineering
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably SolidWorks
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MATLAB and/or similar tools
Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams applications
Rotary Wing and Design course completions
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
