Description
The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist II to join the UCLA Child OCD, Anxiety, and Tic Disorders Clinic. The Clinic specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and related problems in children and adolescents. Primary duties include:
Providing care and services to children, adolescents, and their parents, participating in clinic programs
Evaluate and monitor symptoms, difficulties, and strengths/resources using interviews, questionnaires , and testing
Providing individual, group, and family treatment and intervention
Providing clinical teaching and supervision to program trainees
Providing individual, group, and family treatment and intervention
Other clinical duties as assigned
Salary range: $60.11/hr - $79.30/hr
Qualifications
Psyd or Phd in Psychology
Valid CA Psychology License
1-2 years of post-doc
experience in clinical psychology
Experience developing
intervention programs for children/adolescents and their families
Extensive training in a variety
of psychological assessment measures
Knowledge of evidence-based
interventions for individuals with psychiatric disorders
Demonstrated experience
maintaining professional and friendly rapport with patients and their families
Excellent oral and written
communication skills including the ability to write and edit written reports
Ability to work flexible
schedule to meet department and patient needs
