As the Neurosurgery Physician Assistant,
Deliver care with both independent decision making abilities and collaboration with the board certified physician.
Deliver expert care to patients with spine injuries or disorders in the preoperative and postoperative environments in Neurosurgery.
Provide individualized care in the clinic environments under the direction of and in collaboration with the Spine supervising physician.
This individualized care is achieved through comprehensive health assessments; detail documentation of history and physicals, consultations, and progress notes, ordering and or interpreting diagnostic test or studies.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
Bachelor's degree
License/Certification:
Current, unrestricted California PA license required
DEA License.
National PA certification
ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience:
1+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant
Experience in Spine or Orthopedics preferred
