Scheduler II - DUTIES: Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to develop a construction project schedule that meets specifications and standards. This involves working with estimate construction cost, quantity takeoff, and work sequencing for highways, bridges, & transit infrastructure projects; coordination with Engineering & Construction Professionals for timely updates utilizing up-to-date quantities for cost & schedule control to mitigate risk; present quantity comparison and negotiate quantity growth/savings with Project Engineers, Project Controls Managers and Project Managers to help them to make critical decision for project success; gather, evaluate, analyze, and combine data, present it in visually compelling formats to facilitate comprehension and garner support from Executives & Management. Further, responsibilities involve identifying logical progression of tasks for construction and engineering work based off past performance for highways, bridges, and transit infrastructure projects. Lead schedule reviews with Project Managers, Executives, and Regional Managers for making critical decisions to minimize risk to project schedules. Coordinate with interdepartmental project teams to assess reporting, identify risks, and create/produce accurate forecast models for large scale construction projects. Prepare resource-loaded engineering and construction schedules using InEight modules (data driven tools) to generate project staffing curves, MHs curves, & commodity curves. Provide and oversee critical path method scheduling with Primavera for construction projects and operations. Coordinate with interdepartmental project teams to assess reporting, identify risks, and create/produce accurate forecast models for large scale construction projects. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience to involve: (1) estimate construction cost, quantity takeoff, and work sequencing for highways, bridges, & transit infrastructure projects; (2) coordination with Engineering & Construction Professionals for timely updates utilizing up-to-date quantities for cost & schedule control to mitigate risk; (3) present quantity comparison and negotiate quantity growth/savings with Project Engineers, Project Controls Managers and Project Managers to help them to make critical decision for project success; (4) gather, evaluate, analyze, and combine data, present it in visually compelling formats to facilitate comprehension and garner support from Executives & Management. Additionally, any experience stated herein to involve development and training on cost and resource loaded schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tool and understanding/familiarity with Projects Controls concepts including Earned Value management or tenants of project management, ability to forecast and plan for project execution utilizin
