Your role: We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to play an important role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will be an experienced marketer with good creative and commercial instincts who canwork collaboratively with the Customer team to create innovative campaigns that align with The Times and Sunday Times' values and objectives.

Day to day you will:

  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and the Head of Marketing Communications to devise and deliver campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels that drive brand, reputational and commercial growth.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external agencies to develop the communication materials for multi-channel marketing strategies, enhancing presence, increasing readership and driving new subscriptions.

  • Ensure creative briefing and execution is best in class, bespoke to the marketing platform and set up to drive optimal performance.

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise tactics and improve ROI.

  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand guidelines and are consistent across all elements.

  • Collaborate closely with editorial, commercial and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of marketing efforts.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on communications, ideally within the media/publishing industry.

  • Good understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, analytics tools, and emerging trends in the media landscape.

  • An understanding of The Times and Sunday Times brand, tone of voice and style of writing.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to use data and insight to inform solutions.

  • Ability to manage time, workload and projects - to hit budgets and deadlines.

  • High energy and creative.
