Job Title: Mold Tech
Job Description
The Mold Tech will work from blueprints to build, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on fixtures used for holding tempered glass. The role involves using manual mills, lathes, CNCs, HAAS CNC, and welders. Precision is paramount as tolerances are tight. The position requires mig/tig welding and fabrication skills. While blueprints provide a guideline, troubleshooting and technical thought are essential to ensure the dies function correctly. Beyond the 350 - 400 fixture preventative maintenance program, the Mold Tech will collaborate with the Maintenance team and assist on the production floor to resolve equipment issues, potentially machining parts from scratch.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in LIGONIER, Indiana.
Work Environment
This position operates in a second shift (2-10:30 pm) or third shift (10 pm-6:30 am), offering a standard 40-hour work week with optional overtime. Every fifth weekend requires work on Saturday and Sunday, with the flexibility to choose two days off in the preceding week. The team consists of 11 Mold Techs across various shifts, working closely with the Maintenance team. The environment involves high temperatures up to 110 degrees due to the presence of ovens, yet maintains high cleanliness standards with minimal dirt.
