Patient Connection Hub Access Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Supervisor will have the responsibility for building people and processes to centralize physician scheduling services, integrate with other functions across the organization to provide a concierge-style, coordinated and centralized service for anyone seeking to access Baptist services, including scheduling appointments, referring patients and financially securing visits.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for daily supervision and management of a team of resources who serves as the frontline staff for inbound calls and requests from patients, referring offices and Baptist employees.
* Responsible for building relationships with Baptist employees, providers and their practice staff, which includes developing a working knowledge practice operations and call center leading practices.
* Oversees an Access Coordinator team and collaborates across various departments (operations, technology, and finance) to implement these processes within a healthcare environment.
* Oversees staff work schedule to ensure proper skill mix and adequate staffing levels are maintained during each work day.
* Utilizes reporting systems to track key performance measures/outcomes to maximize efficiency and staff performance.
* Manages staff performance, provides real-time coaching and feedback, and holds individuals accountable to meet or exceed the performance standards.
* Coordinates and facilitates the development and delivery of staff training.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Associate's degree and/or related work experience will be considered.
* Excellent planning, critical thinking, time management, and customer service skills.
* Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards and other relevant areas.
* Excellent leadership, analytical and project management skills as demonstrated by ability to manage personnel and identify technical issues.
* Demonstrated passion for leading and developing people as well as promoting excellent customer service.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with employees, healthcare providers, patients, and medical group leadership.
