DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As part of this role, you will oversee a team of maintenance and trades workers who are involved in the building, upkeep, and restoration of structures within Gifford Pinchot State Park. Your main duty will be to ensure that all buildings, roads, amenities, and machinery at Gifford Pinchot State Park are properly maintained and functioning at their best capacity.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Will work 37.5 hours, 5 varying days of the week, must be available holidays, evenings and weekends Shifts may vary to include some weekend shifts during major events or to meet operational needs. Employee is required to be available to be called in for emergencies, special events or to handle problems and issues that occur outside of normal working hours including evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience in two of the following: electrical trades, plumbing trades carpentry trades, mechanical trades, water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or the operation of small and medium size construction or agricultural equipment; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirement:

All positions require possession of an active motor vehicle license.
