Cummins Inc. Power Generation Field Service Technician in Lethbridge, Alberta
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Field Service Power Generation technician to join our team in Lethbridge.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Anticipates and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
Apply the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools
Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced
Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Red seal certification (in Heavy duty mechanics) is mandatory or in Electricity with great engine repair experience
Current relevant electrical certification is an asset
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Basic mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
High Voltage / Low Voltage experience is a strong asset
About the role:
Complete preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on Generator or component at the customer site.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 4h30pm.

Salary starting at 45$ hourly, depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS
A current valid license is required for this role
A copy of your red seal certification or trade’s diploma is required for this position.
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This role will can be subjected to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
