Job Description:The Global Mobility Specialist will manage international programs and provide guidance on global mobility policy, best practice and compliance.
Oversees immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with immigration procedures.
Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Reviews immigration procedures and legal status of foreign employees.
Responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
Design and maintain process documentation for the global mobility programs.
Assist with international assignment, permanent transfer, extended business trips and new hire administration.
Handle all immigration, Visa and work authorization issues if they occur, for transfers between offices and countries.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships.
Design program reporting and analytics to capture program activity and impact.
Plan details for domestic/international relocations and field questions from employees, and HR Business Partners regarding visa and relocation issues
Communicate frequently with HR Business Partners discussing timelines, providing process updates, and setting future expectations
Liaise with external immigration counsel to coordinate visa applications, renewals, job changes and relocations
Prepare detailed immigration applications and justifications by partnering with HR Business Partners and employees
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
2 to 4 years of program management and/or administering a corporate immigration program
Knowledge of legal and regulatory trends and requirements in FLSA requirements, and mobility regulations
H2-B Visa experience
