Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Lee, Massachusetts, United States. This role is vital in the telecom industry, where you will be responsible for ensuring that our system infrastructure is functioning optimally and securely. You will be using your skills in Cisco Technologies, Database Management, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, and Linux Technologies, among others, to perform your duties efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization.

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential.

• Demonstrated experience with database management and maintenance.

• Knowledge of Dell Technologies is a must.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required.

• Expertise in Linux Technologies is necessary.

• Proficiency in using Active Directory for network management.

• Experience with Backup Technologies for data protection and recovery.

• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware is needed.

• Experience in Configuration Management for maintaining system consistency.
