WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsible for the preparation and completion of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsible for preparing General Ledger (GL) entries related to credit and debit card activity as well as bank transactions. Research variances and discrepancies between the General Ledger (GL) and third-party reporting. Research and dispute credit card chargebacks. Assist store catering managers with credit card charges and related questions. Work with various internal teams to assist with questions and requests related to credit and debit card activity. Responsible for monitoring and reconciling store-level bank statements, research discrepancies in bank statement and GL cash account, and communicates with store management regarding errors and write-offs. Analyze and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts, accrue and adjust expenses as needed, audit financial information for inconsistencies, and communicates directly with management as needed to ensure quality financial statements. Research issues raised by management. Compiles supporting documentation and prepares reports to substantiate transactions or amounts in questions.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education

• 2-year accounting degree plus 1-2 years accounting experience; OR 4-6 years of related equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of overall workings of automated accounting systems to include internal control issues and generally accepted accounting principles.

• Proficient computer skills and experience with or knowledge of mainframe computers and networks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
