Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client in the Lebanon, PA area. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining our financial records, including processing payments, tracking invoices, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk may include:
• Accurately and efficiently handle the processing of Accounts Payable invoices.
• Manage email communication related to Accounts Payable and Sales Tax, responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized.
• Seek out opportunities for discounts to optimize company spending.
• Prepare 1099's according to due date
• Manage sales and use tax payments on invoices as necessary.
• Provide support to other Accounting and Finance functions when required.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in an Accounts Payable role required or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior ERP system experience
