About the position:
We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team to perform routine machinery maintenance tasks by using standard procedure, tools, materials, machines and equipment. You will:
- Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment including, but not necessarily limited to, motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.
- Examines mechanical machinery and equipment to diagnose trouble.
- Inspects defective machinery and equipment to determine wear or damage.
- Disassembles machinery and equipment and repairs or replaces broken parts.
- Adjusts functional parts of mechanical machinery and equipment as necessary. Cleans and lubricates parts. Orders replacement parts.
- Inspects completed repairs. Completes disassembly and rebuild of machinery, equipment or subassemblies.
- Follows standardized work to complete tasks.
- Supports the Company’s 5S program in an effort to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.
- Makes recommendations to change outdated or ineffective procedures through the kaizen process.
- Supports Toyota Production System (TPS) driven processes and activities.
About the schedule:
This position is 1st shift and works Monday – Thursday 6am – 3:30pm and Friday 6am – 10am.
About you:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two or more years maintenance mechanic or similar experience
- Experience with repair and measuring equipment
- Experience with tools, gears, machine wiring, welding, and cutting as applied to repair and rebuild work
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles and machine operations
It would be great if you had:
- CNC Machining Experience
- Experience with basic manual and power tools
About the total compensation package:
Wage - $21.30 - $26.50 per hour. Compensation based on experience.
