Applied Technical Services Inc. Our Calibration Department is currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Assistant Service Manager to be based at the location in Largo, FL. The Calibration Department specializes in precision calibration measuring equipment of various types.

Job Title: Calibration Assistant Manager

Summary:

The purpose of the Calibration Assistant Manager position is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the ConMed-Largo Embedded Laboratory while also being hands on with the calibration process.

Responsibilities:

· Perform calibrations and manage the client calibration program

· Oversee day-to-day operational leadership duties at the client facility including calibration activities and staff

· Provide leadership and training to employees

· Perform calibrations in the lab and in the production environment

· Fill in for the Service Coordinator on an as needed basis

· Monitor and report key performance indicators

· Work with the client liaison to develop and maintain calibration practices at the client site

· Other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Skills:

Education:

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

· Minimum 10 years of recent in-depth knowledge of calibration standards and procedures

· Minimum 5 years of experience successfully leading a team

· Previous experience a fast-paced customer facing role is a plus

Skills:

· Bilingual - Spanish

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent leadership and team management skills

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Strong written and interpersonal skills

· Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner on a consistent and daily basis

Additional requirements:

· Position will require walking at least 25% of the time and sitting 75% of the time in a laboratory and commercial environment
