Campbell Press Repair Business and Finance Manager in Lansing, Michigan
Summary: The Business & Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations, strategic planning, and business improvement initiatives to drive Campbell Press Repair's growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial statements to identify areas for improvement, implementing wealth creation strategies, and overseeing internal and external financial reporting. In addition, the role requires managing the company's IT infrastructure, including the ERP system, network security, and vendor relationships. The individual will lead cross-functional teams, facilitate process improvements, and support equipment utilization and acquisition strategies.
As a key member of the leadership team, the individual will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and managing property activities on the Campbell campus.
Position Responsibilities: • Analyze profit and loss statements, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance financial performance. • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the company's vision and objectives. • Perform financial forecasting and collaborate with CPAs to create predictable wealth creation strategies. • Oversee and manage the company's business insurance. • Responsible for internal and external financial reporting including tax returns and other statutory filing. • Stay current with taxes, tax incentives, and business laws. • Track utilization and profitability of equipment. • Report on internal cost drivers (consumables, tooling and equipment). • Work with management on new equipment acquisitions. • Facilitate periodic review of CapEx and OpEx project budgets. • Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining and updating KPIs for review. • Facilitate strategic planning of the business. • Work with teams to improve and enhance the ERP system. • Manage commercial IS&T relationships (IT Consultants, CAD, CAM, and other SaaS providers). • Oversee ERP and network including security, storage and management. • Maintain ERP system to meet evolving business requirements and end user training. • Work with management to maintain consistent procedures and standards. • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. • Administer and lead the performance review process. • Ensure consistent onboarding processes in collaboration with operations. • Review and update the company's 401(k) plan design and investment options. • Manage and maintain the group benefits plan. • Administration of safety programs, training and development activities. • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws. • Maintain commercial relationships with direct and indirect suppliers. • Oversee management of rental properties on the Campbell campus. • Serve as the main point of contact for property management activities.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance. • A minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in a management role that includes IT and HR work.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA) Required: • Ability to analyze financial statements, forecast financial performance, and implement strategic financial plans. • Capability to develop long-term strategic plans aligned with business goals. • Skills in identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and managing change initiatives. • Experience with ERP systems,
