Can you work as a team and independently? If you answered yes, then Platinum Pest Solutions is the place for you! We are currently looking for Field Service Technicians to service our customers in Wisconsin to join our ever-expanding territory, within Milwaukee and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician will use pest control techniques to exterminate/treat pests in outdoor and indoor environments. Responsible for generating sales referrals and leads as well as upselling to existing customers. Providing exceptional customer service to property managers, residents for a designated area/route.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Observes the property and consults with customers to identify pests.
• Determines best method to treating and exterminating pests using specific treatment methods.
• Sprays chemical pesticides and spreads granular pesticides in problem areas.
• Places and sets mechanical traps to remove rodents, roaches, or bed bugs.
• Posts warning signs for areas exposed to chemical pesticides or dangerous gases.
• Cleans affected areas as necessary.
• Responsible for service to a specified service route, including customer service and revenue of defined route.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of accounts serviced. Communicate to customers/tenants outcomes and expectations of service provided.
• Follow up on any customers issues or concerns.
• Mainating vehicle inspection
• Maintain driving score expectations
• Follow processes and procedures
• Performs other related duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of pest management techniques
• Ability to read material safety (MS Data) sheets and follow manufacturers directions for handling dangerous chemicals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, and superiors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn software platform for tracking progress of service provided.
• Time Management
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• English speaking and reading

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a mini um of 50 pounds.
• Able to work in areas infested with insects, rodents, or other animals.
