Job Title: Physical Substation EngineerJob Description
The Physical Substation Engineer performs comprehensive design tasks for high voltage (4kV – 230kV) and EHV (above 230kV) substation projects, including the development of general arrangements, plan views/elevation views, and grounding plans. This role entails providing specifications for major primary equipment such as transformers, breakers, and switches, and conducting grounding, lighting, AC/DC, and bus fault analysis studies. The engineer will also provide technical support for procurement and construction, impacting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Hard Skills
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
Experience in Physical Substation design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation
Soft Skills
Ability to provide technical support
Capability to impact multiple projects
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in NA, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid or fully remote working opportunity depending on experience level. Engineers with 3-7 years of experience will be required to work in-office a few days per week under the guidance of more tenured Engineers, while Senior Level Engineers have the opportunity to work fully remote.
