Description We are in the industry of Research & Development, based in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, 19446, United States. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer. This role involves developing in T-SQL, Analysis Services tabular models, and assisting with the planning and “lift and shift” into Azure and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
• Developing in T-SQL, Analysis Services tabular models.
• Assisting with the planning and “lift and shift” into Azure and Power BI.
• Performing analysis on large and diverse data sets.
• Writing code in various programming languages, performing analysis, action-ing technical tasks as directed, report and data modeling.
• Participating in design discussions.
• Supporting end users, including assistance in defining requirements and manipulating data in end user tools.
• Answering support questions from end users, troubleshooting, contributing to scope/planning for upcoming sprints.
• Writing and maintaining the documentation for Business Intelligence solutions.
• Creating functional specifications for Business Intelligence solutions.
• Translating business requirements into technical requirements, contributing to data dictionaries. Requirements • Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies
• Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence
• Strong understanding of Database management
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems
• Experience with MicroStrategy Development
• Familiarity with AB Testing procedures
• Proficient in Analytics tools and strategies
• Extensive knowledge in Business Intelligence (BI)
• Experience with Business Intelligence Technologies
• Ability to prepare Business Requirement Documents
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
