Job Title: Sandblaster
Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Paint/Blast Department where you will be responsible for blasting various materials such as metal, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Your key responsibilities will include reading blueprints and drawings, setting up and operating equipment like blasters and paint guns, using hand and power tools, and maintaining cleanliness of the workspace. You will also be involved in light production machinery operation, coating parts with rollers, and ensuring all tasks adhere to work orders.
Work Environment
The work environment in our Blast/Paint Department is fast-paced and requires a proactive attitude with no room for idle hands. You will be working with materials such as epoxy and urethane paints, and using equipment like sandblasters while wearing safety gear such as helmets with air lines and respirators. It is important to note that it may not be suitable for individuals with plastic allergies. The facility ensures proper ventilation with open bay doors. The available shift is afternoons from Monday - Thursday with training on days. Wages range up to $30/hour to start
