Clean Harbors Facility Operations Supervisor in La Porte, Texas

We are seeking a motivated team player to join our La Porte, TX location as a Facility Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of plant personnel and operations.

  • Oversees multiple site-specific plant operations, including, but not limited to, tote processing, pallet processing, and equipment for upkeep of the facility grounds.

  • Oversees disassembly and disposal or used totes and process hoses.

  • Supervises multiple Plant/Employees for daily plant operations and tasks, General Labor workforce.

  • Ensures that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures & Monthly training modules and holds employees accountable.

  • Ensures that supervised operations/employees understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards.

  • Perform daily compliance inspections of areas throughout the facility and document and correct as needed.

  • Works under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager or equivalent.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.

  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 5 years of Industrial or Plant experience preferred

  • 3+ years supervisory experience in an industrial/plant environment

  • 1+ years in a production driven environment

  • Forklift training/experience

  • Computer literate

  • Ability to lead a team by example

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite - Excel and Word

  • Ability to work a rotating shift (nights and days)
