Colorado State Job Bank Production Worker (Part Time) in La Junta, Colorado
POSITION: Production Worker (Part-Time)
DUTIES: * Grind and/or wire-brush welds to make them smooth. * Operate a rivet gun to assemble lockers. * Dust products to ensure proper powder coat adherence. * Load trucks. * Move lockers using a dolly or cart. * Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. * Maintain a clean work area free of hazards.
REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds. * Must pass a drug test.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Vigilance about safety. * Willingness to do what it takes to accomplish the job, plus a little more. * Desire to learn.
PREFERRED SKILLS: * High school diploma or GED. * Manufacturing experience.
WAGE: $17.00 per hour
SHIFTS: Day Shift, 8:00AM - 3:30PM Monday-Thursday, 32 hours per week
JOB SITE: La Junta, CO
BENEFITS: No benefits
