Position: Procurement and Commercial Contracts Specialist - Healthcare
Type: Part-Time (10 hours per week)
Description:
We are seeking a true expert in procurement contracts for scientific products (equipment, consumables, etc.), specifically within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience with in-house procurement contract negotiations across various industries. This role is not suited for general attorneys but rather for specialists with in-depth knowledge and experience in procurement contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Contract Negotiations:
Extensive experience in negotiating procurement contracts for scientific products within the healthcare sector.
Expertise in SaaS Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Security Services, and Vendor Agreements.
Master Agreements and Risk Analysis:
Negotiate Master Agreements and conduct risk analysis where applicable.
Manage amendments, SOWs, reinstatements, purchase orders, change orders, and other contractual modifications.
Commercial Agreements:
Prepare, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including Consulting, HCP, Vendor, Marketing, Communications, Finance & IT related Agreements, SaaS, SOWs, NDAs, CDAs, and Engagement Letters.
Contract Redlining:
Redline and review business contracts for both domestic and international clients to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven track record in procurement contract negotiations, particularly for scientific products within the healthcare industry.
Significant experience with in-house procurement contracts and commercial agreement negotiations.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working with healthcare-related products and services.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
