Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing data from internal and external sources.
Help preprocess data for analysis, including handling missing values, data transformation, and data normalization.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
Support senior analysts in performing statistical analysis and applying machine learning algorithms where applicable.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings in an understandable and actionable format.
Utilize tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) to present insights effectively.
Assist in documenting analysis procedures, methodologies, and findings.
Provide analytical support to various departments by interpreting data and offering recommendations.
Participate in team meetings, discussions, and presentations to expand knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , Data Science , or a related field.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python , R , or SQL .
Basic understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Experience with machine learning or AI applications in data analytics.
Understanding of database management and query optimization.
