BorgWarner Noblesville, LLC PRE-PRODUCTION INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER in Kokomo, Indiana
**DUTIES: BorgWarner Noblesville LLC seeks a Pre-production Industrial Engineer based out of our location at 2151 E LINCOLN ROAD, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. Note, domestic and international travel, as needed, up to 10% is required for this job. Responsibilities include: lead Lean Manufacturing System Design Process; determine cycle times on machine based and labor-based processes; determine headcount for budget and forecasting; drive high utilization for man, machine, and material; design efficient material movement and work in process handling; analyze plant equipment and floor space capacity, identify gaps and plans for improvement; design in ergonomics on all system workstations; and other duties as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 36 months of experience in the job offered or related. Required experience must include: experience providing floor support in industrial engineering; experience working in assembly and other types of manufacturing processes; experience leading multi-disciplined teams through a project; and experience working with Auto Cad.
