CSL Behring Senior Director, Medical Affairs, Inline Ig in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

The Senior Director Medical Affairs Inline Ig will provide strategic medical leadership across all inline Ig products. This is a critical role to drive medical strategy and execution excellence, enabling commercial growth objectives through evidence generation, thought leadership, scientific engagement and product expertise.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

•Oversees and directs inline Medical Directors’ activities providing medical expertise to all countries for all inline Ig products supporting $6.5B in revenue.

•Oversees development and execution of comprehensive IEGPs ensuring high quality publications from all types of evidence for inline Ig products.

•Oversees and directs inline Ig Medical Directors’ activities in developing and executing comprehensive medical plans to support brand plans for inline Ig products ensuring full integration with marketing and market access and alignment with regions and countries.

•Functions as the Ig scientific medical expert internally and externally with national and international stakeholders. Serves as a collaborator and key stakeholder to the relevant senior leaders in Medical Affairs in the US and International, Global Market Access, Global Clinical R&D, Global , Global Pharmacovigilance and Promotion Review Committee (PRC) on medical aspects of the inline Ig products.

•Ensures strong, efficient and effective Medical Affairs operations and directs the activities of the inline Ig medical team, to assure established performance objectives are met in a fully compliant manner.

•Ensures the inline Ig Medical team are properly staffed to appropriately serve as an internal scientific expert for all disease states for Ig products. Ensures all personnel are trained and strong in medical, scientific, and regulatory knowledge as well as industry research and trends.

•Provides final review and approval of scientific communications on inline Ig products.

•Ensures the support of the internal training for inline Ig products of medical affairs colleagues in the regions and countries.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

•MD with 12+ years of pharmaceutical/biotherapeutics industry experience

•Clinical experience, preferably in a specialty relevant to CSL’s therapeutic areas/products

•8+ years of Executive Medical Affairs Leadership experience

•Experience building and leading matrixed teams in a global organization

•Strong capabilities in clinical research, evidence generation, scientific engagement, and a demonstrated record of

•Influential leader who builds relationships across stakeholder types

•Executive presence with ability to communicate complex data persuasively and relate study results and knowledge of therapeutic area to industry-specific applications

•Strong working knowledge across multiple therapeutic areas and products
