Job Description Summary A successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and sourcing initiatives within Lamb Weston. This role involves data analytics, identifying cost-saving opportunities, evaluating supplier performance, and optimizing procurement processes. The Procurement Specialist, Analytics contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement department by providing insights and actionable recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. Job Description * Collect and analyze procurement data from various sources, such as systems, suppliers, and market trends * Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor key indicators * Collaborate with category managers to support key cross-functional and procurement initiatives that drive results and support category targets * Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks related to procurement activities * Assist in the development and analysis of RFP's and other sourcing events * Track and communicate cost savings related to procurement projects to ensure projects are on track and appropriately reported * Support and participate in category strategy developments, as needed * Work on ad hoc requests for data analysis * Assists with projects at manager's direction Basic & Preferred Qualifications * BA/BS in related field preferred * Minimum 2+ years of related experience * Experience with large data sets and ability for analytical reporting * Excel mastery, ability to learn new procurement systems * Experience using Power BI, SAP, SAP Ariba Spend, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) software is a plus * Candidate will be solutions oriented, proactive, and results driven * Candidate will have the innate curiosity to use data to make decisions * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift gears quickly * Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook * Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and attention to detail * Strong leadership skills, including ability to think strategically while keeping an eye on tactical execution * Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to garner trust and respect of all constituents, while managing timelines in a dynamic environment Industry-Competitive Benefits Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
