Job Summary:
Works in Operations Engineering Department under general supervision of a degreed engineer to support cradle to grave asset management and life-cycle optimization of infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Manage requirements identification and prioritization for utility and sewer systems.
Work with Operations to develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance program to analyze the condition of utility and sewer infrastructure systems to predict failures.
Work with base Energy Manager to optimize energy performance of building systems.
Conduct infrastructure system assessments and maintain asset databases in accordance with Air Force requirements.
Develop Statements of Work and other engineering documents as required by the Operations Engineering Department to facilitate project execution.
Function as a Construction Manager on multiple projects consisting of sewer, water, and interior plumbing systems simultaneously.
Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and provide recommendations for system improvements and prioritization of resources.
Analyze customer work requests to validate requirements, estimate workload/material costs and make design recommendations.
Develop/update/manage Asset Management Portfolios (AMP) and sub-AMP(s) for potable water, underground and interior utility systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
10 years’ relevant work experience in plumbing and/or sewer repair
Associate degree in engineering technology or vocational school equivalent
Certifications appropriate for level of experience
Ability to pass a National Agency background check
Valid Driver’s License
A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
