Job Summary:

Works in Operations Engineering Department under general supervision of a degreed engineer to support cradle to grave asset management and life-cycle optimization of infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage requirements identification and prioritization for utility and sewer systems.

  • Work with Operations to develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance program to analyze the condition of utility and sewer infrastructure systems to predict failures.

  • Work with base Energy Manager to optimize energy performance of building systems.

  • Conduct infrastructure system assessments and maintain asset databases in accordance with Air Force requirements.

  • Develop Statements of Work and other engineering documents as required by the Operations Engineering Department to facilitate project execution.

  • Function as a Construction Manager on multiple projects consisting of sewer, water, and interior plumbing systems simultaneously.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and provide recommendations for system improvements and prioritization of resources.

  • Analyze customer work requests to validate requirements, estimate workload/material costs and make design recommendations.

  • Develop/update/manage Asset Management Portfolios (AMP) and sub-AMP(s) for potable water, underground and interior utility systems.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • 10 years’ relevant work experience in plumbing and/or sewer repair

  • Associate degree in engineering technology or vocational school equivalent

  • Certifications appropriate for level of experience

  • Ability to pass a National Agency background check

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
