Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Kapolei, Hawaii
Description
We are in the Rental/Leasing Services industry, based in Kapolei, Hawaii, 96707, United States, and we are currently looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial health by ensuring accurate financial reporting, complying with relevant regulations, and overseeing our accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
• Construct strategic plans for the organization's financial operations, which include budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Analyze accounting data to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities, and deliver suggestions to top management.
• Guarantee compliance with all relevant accounting rules, laws, and regulations, including General Equivalent tax regulations.
• Uphold a robust system of internal controls to protect the organization's assets and financial data.
• Manage the prompt and accurate reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Oversee fixed asset activity, which includes tracking depreciation and ensuring correct capitalization.
• Formulate and manage debt schedules, including loan payments and interest accruals.
• Negotiate favorable terms with lenders and ensure the timely repayment of debts.
• Analyze accounting data to create comprehensive financial reports and statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Convey financial results and insights to top management and stakeholders.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the Rental/Leasing Services industry
• Proven expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)
• Demonstrated ability in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in managing Fixed Assets
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficient in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
