Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineering

Job Description

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of the building and its systems. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing urgent repair needs, and supporting the overall functionality of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on building systems.

  • Address urgent repair needs promptly to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Support the overall functionality of the facility by maintaining systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

  • Perform painting, drywall, and mechanical maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to mitigate future issues.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of maintenance issues.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with painting, drywall, and mechanical maintenance.

  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
