Logan Health Brendan House offers skilled nursing, transitional care, long-term care, and comfort care with 110 beds, divided into six unique pods. Our mission is to provide resident-centered care, helping people live fully and participate in life.

Qualifications:

  • Position: 36 hours per week

  • Education:

  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), or

  • Graduate of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

  • Licensure:

  • Current Montana PTA license or temporary Montana PTA license, OR

  • Eligibility for Montana COTA license (must obtain within 90 days of employment or the first opportunity to sit for the test).

  • Experience:

  • Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of Therapy Assistant experience.

  • Certifications:

  • Current CPR certification, as applicable to the assigned area.

  • Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, self-starter, and critical thinking.

  • Ability to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and teamwork.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Plan and provide therapy services efficiently and competently.

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, adapting them to achieve goals.

  • Provide therapy treatments according to established standards, respecting age, culture, and conditions.

  • Perform technical skills in line with education and experience.

  • Document treatments and progress accurately, following therapy standards and payer guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance).

  • Collaborate with leadership on patient goals and discharge planning.

  • Exhibit proficiency in using equipment, materials, and techniques in assigned areas.

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

  • Meet productivity standards for assigned areas.

  • Attend regularly as scheduled by department leadership.

  • Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
