Job Title: Machine Builder
Job Description
This individual will be responsible for different projects. This person will be building machines off of blueprints that are given to them. They also will have to do some basic wiring through the machine (up to 480v). This role requires someone who is comfortable with constantly moving between projects every few months.
Responsibilities
Build machines from blueprints
Perform basic wiring up to 480v
Adapt to different projects every few months
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Participate in an interview assessment involving blueprint analysis
Work on machine building, assembly, and basic fabrication tasks
Essential Skills
2+ years of machine build experience
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Experience with VFD
2+ years of electrical wiring experience (up to 480v)
Ability to drill and tap panels
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MIG welding
Good job tenure
Good communication skills

Work Environment
The company has been around since 1881 and operates a 150,000 sq. ft. plant with modern production equipment, offices, and a laboratory. They manufacture all their own components and cast urethane for their own and other makes of vibratory bowls and centrifugal disks. The facility is climate-controlled and equipped with hot, cold, and spray urethane capabilities. This is a 1st shift job opportunity, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
