Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in KAHULUI, Hawaii, for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in the construction/contractor industry. This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll while adhering to all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of employee payroll.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to maintain and improve payroll systems.
• Use your knowledge of tax laws, benefits administration, and advanced Excel skills to enhance our payroll process.
• Analyze payroll data to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
• Handle employee inquiries about payroll in a detail oriented and timely manner.
• Prepare comprehensive payroll reports for management review.
• Use accounting software systems to manage payroll data.
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports for payroll processing.
• Administer 401k - RRSP and conduct necessary auditing.
• Oversee accounting and benefit functions as part of your role.
Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role in the construction/contractor industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is necessary
• Knowledge of Ceridian is a must
• Ability to use Crystal Reports is expected
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is needed
• Proficiency in About Time software is preferred
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial
• Experience in Auditing is important
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is required
