Position Summary:
Facilitates,coordinates,and evaluates nursing services inInterventionalRadiology. Applies all nursing principles,theories,and techniques of nursing tomaintainan optimalpatient outcome. Under the direction of the Director, functions as a member of the interventional radiology department to provide care for patients of all ages: (neonates, pediatrics, adolescents,adults,and geriatric). Participates with the operations manager in continuous performance improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science
- Current PA Registered Nurse License to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of PArequired
- CurrentACLS
- Basic Dysrhythmia Course
- Willing to betrained in conscious sedationwithproficiencyacquiredin 6 months
- One-yearof experience withinthe past 5 years, in one of the following areas: Critical Care Nursing, ER,PACU,ICU, CCU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, ICU step down unit, progressive care.
