Job Title: Safety ManagerJob Description

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that safety protocols are developed, maintained, and enforced across the company. This role involves advocating for a strong safety culture, promoting safety by example both in the office and on the jobsite, and ensuring that all staff utilize proper personal protective equipment and adhere to safety regulations. Responsibilities also include developing Project Safety Plans for all jobsites and conducting training for project employees. The Safety Manager will also consult with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all project phases and tasks.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Johnston, Iowa.

Work Environment

This role operates in both an office environment, where the employee will occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force, and a field environment, where the force exerted can occasionally be between 20 to 50 pounds. Office activities may include balancing, bending/stooping, and reaching above shoulder, with frequent activities including sitting, standing, walking, typing, and using standard office equipment.
